Sign a Card

Forming a union is a democratic process. Instead of holding a representation election, we intend to obtain union recognition by having a majority of UW Research Coordinators & Consultants sign union authorization cards (click here to learn more). When a majority of us sign cards to authorize our representation by UAW, the Washington State Public Employee Relations Commission will count the cards and approve our petition to form a union. We can then begin bargaining with UW. No one will pay any dues or fees until the collective bargaining agreement has been approved by a vote of Research Coordinators & Consultants.
